People who want to learn how to protect themselves, their families, and their homes. We start with a personalized approach to teaching safety, the fundamentals, situational awareness, and responsible gun ownership. Students will learn range etiquette, basic marksmanship, firearm maintenance, train in mock scenarios, and much more!

A Little About Us
"Hello!
My name is Jonathan Cantwell and I am the owner and Lead Firearms Instructor of A.I.M. Preparation LLC. This is a proudly Veteran-owned and operated business!
A.I.M. Preparation was started in Oklahoma, USA, 2023. I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer for over 4 years and was honorably discharged in 2018.
During my time in service, I learned I had a knack for shooting, but even more so, having a passion for helping and coaching others. I helped many Marines and Sailors with their rifle marksmanship and qualifications. After my time in service, I joined the Federal Bureau of Prisons working as a Corrections Officer. While at my training, I helped coach fellow officers on pistol, rifle, and shotgun marksmanship.
I have been teaching firearms for 10+ years and absolutely love it. Nothing makes me feel better than when new students have that "ah-ha" moment, and everything just clicks. What truly makes me happy, is when I see my students get over their fear of firearms and learn that they are tool's to be respected, not feared. I am genuinely passionate about coaching and helping new shooters. I want, and believe, that every American has a right to feel safe and protected, but by their own means, not through someone else's."
